Brianna and Nathan | Navy Blue and Pink Wedding

Brianna turned Nathan down five times before she said “yes”. The two met at Delta Sigma Pi – a co-ed business fraternity at ASU. Brianna is a talented dancer, so Nathan asked her to give him a few dance lessons in preparation for a Halloween party. Brianna and a couple friends came over to teach Nathan to dance. He was smitten.

A few weeks later, he asked her out. She said “no.” Four more times he asked and four more times she turned him down. Finally, just before Christmas 2011, he asked her one more time. She said “yes!” They officially became a couple in February 2012.

For the next five years, they enjoyed life’s dance together. Then, on February 27, 2017, they hiked Camelback Mountain as a goodbye activity with a friend, who was moving out of state.
When they got to the summit, the sadness of saying so-long to a pal melted into beams of joy when Nathan, under the guise of posing for a picture, dropped to one knee and asked Brianna to be his wife.
It was “YES!” as far as the eye could see. The two were married on October 8 at The Landmark in Mesa, AZ.
When Nathan caught a glimpse of Brianna in her bridal glory during their first look moment, tears trickled down his cheeks. What a sweet memory for this couple!
During the ceremony, the bride was accompanied by bridesmaids in navy blue gowns. Groomsman in light grey suits with navy blue ties stood up with Nathan, looking especially distinguished in a blush-colored tie.
The couple wrote their own vows. Brianna began hers with the “Parks and Recreation” quote: “I love you and I like you” – always a good combo for a married couple. The humor was a fun accent, like their dog Harley, who wore a heart-shaped sign that said: “My humans are getting married.”
Just as their relationship had started six years earlier, Nathan and Brianna’s married life began with dancing, with original choreography by Brianna for the bride and groom’s dance and the father-daughter dance. It was the perfect way to begin the next chapter of their story!
