L’Auberge de Sedona Wedding | Kristen and Daniel

When Kristen and Daniel first accepted us to photograph their Wedding Day, we felt so honored. When we found out that their wedding was going to take place at the amazing L’Auberge de Sedona, we definitely had to pinch each other. Because, hello, it’s L’Auberge! Our “One Day” Venue!

Kristen and Daniel did their Engagement Session with us in Sedona last Fall. We had such a great time with these two. They are so cool and much fun. Their love for each other is incredible. We fell in love with these guys immediately.

Now to the wedding. Can you pick a better place to start your life with someone? For anyone that has never been to Sedona, you must experience it. For those of you that have never experienced the amazing resort that is L’Auberge de Sedona, it needs to be on your “Bucket List” for sure! This resort is situated along hands-down the prettiest stretch of Oak Creek. They even have a dedicated stretch of beach along the slowest eddy of the creek. This area has become a duck habitat.

The wedding took place at two separate locations at the resort. The couple got ready and had dinner and reception at the Creekside Lodge. This is an fabulous 5 bedroom cottage with a huge open downstairs and wrap-around deck overlooking an incredible bend in Oak Creek. Dinner and cocktail hour also took place in this location. More on that later.

The ceremony area, otherwise know as “The Lawn” was a little hamlet of the resort that overlooked the rapids section of Oak Creek. It was an awe-inspiring location to have a Wedding Ceremony with the altar set on an elevated creekside platform. Spectacular!

Kristen looked amazing in her gown from Uptown Bridal. The light pinks, antiqued florals and muted color palette was the perfect contrast to the rich green woodland tones and Sedona Red Rocks along and inside Oak Creek.

Daniel was looking quite dapper himself in his dark blue suit with brown shoes. We loved the American Flag socks he was sporting and that he gave to his groomsmen. All in all, the couple looked perfect together and their ceremony was equally perfect.

Photographing a couple at L’Auberge de Sedona is a unique experience. You are given access to literally the most exclusive and beautiful stretch of all of Oak Creek. We were in complete “Photography Heaven” and we hope it shows. Kristen and Daniel made it easy for us!

Ok, back to dinner. One word, “Unforgettable”. This location along Oak Creek, with the amazing surroundings, with such lovely people; easily high up our “Top 10” Dinner List. The food was pretty good too. We both had the Salmon with Risotto. YUMMY!

The reception are at the Creekside Lodge was so well appointed. There was a really quant cupcake and couple’s cake surrounded by great little details about the couple. Our friends at SKM Entertainment made sure the party never stopped and the dance floor remained the place to be. Above all, we had such an amazing time as this wedding. Even though we checked one more location off our “Bucket List” we still need to pinch ourselves as we are still dreaming to be back there.
