As Arizona wedding photographers, we often get to shoot at wedding venues with some picturesque landscape backdrops, and this wedding at Troon Country Club was no exception. With Pinnacle Peak, the iconic Arizona mountain range providing a dramatic vista for our bride and groom’s wedding ceremony, we knew we’d get some really stunning wedding photos for them. We’ve built our business up mainly through personal recommendation, and our bride was part of the bridal party at one of our previous couples’ weddings. The couple are based in Chicago right now and we had the opportunity of meeting them in one of their visits back in Arizona. We love getting to meet couples first! We’re so passionate about the wedding photography service we offer, and we love getting to share our expertise on desert weddings, and hearing all about our couples plans for the wedding day.

Bride & Groom

The couple first met while working together at the same unit at the hospital. They were the “new” staff on the unit, and therefore became fast friends. But it wasn’t until Aaron finished working at the hospital nine months after that they officially began dating. The first couple of weeks as a new couple were a whirlwind, as they spent every day with each other…meeting each other’s families, enjoying many dates and finally having time with each other, while not wearing scrubs! In August 2018, Aaron came home to Arizona after he finished his first quarter of PA school in Chicago and he planned to propose to Morgan while having dinner with both of their parents. Later that night he got down on one knee, and asked the most important question of his life “Will you marry me?”

It wasn’t too hard for them picking their wedding venue, Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ was the place where Morgan parents got married many years ago so just imagine how special it was for the bride to walk down the aisle to her groom and say I do in front of their families, pretty special!! Their wedding was full of personal details. Morgan handmade every single one of their invitations while Aaron made their cupcake stand, his dad built the arch that was used for their ceremony and the groom’s brother was not only his Best Man but he also officiated their wedding. The wedding was absolutely beautiful!! Thank you to this awesome couple for giving us the opportunity to photograph such a special day.
