Looking at the photos from Kaitlyn and Brendon’s wedding bring a smile to our faces. It is not hard to see why. Looking sharp in a black grey suit, brilliant white shirt, blue tie, brown shoes, Star Wars cuff links and socks (a tribute to the saga he so loves) and a teasingly little flower pinned on his lapel, Brendon displays happiness in both his stance and facial expression; he literally cannot take his gaze away from his beautiful bride. The lovely bride. Her gown was exquisite! With a lacy bodice, flared skirts, a flowing white veil, minimal jewelry and a bouquet in her left hand, she returned his loving gaze with equal happiness. The images taken with a myriad of colors allows their natural beauty and happiness to seep through and merge with that of the colorful walls. It was truly a happy day for the lovebirds.
To put things in perspective and add a touch of nostalgia, their story is even more interesting. Having met 3 years ago when Kaitlin answered a tweet from Brendon, the couple got engaged in 2016 in an affair as beautiful as their wedding, cute and light up by candles, a handmade scrapbook and music that made their engagement special. Since Kaitlin works at the New Life Church in Phoenix, AZ, a church she has been a member of since she was 8 years old, it was only fitting that the wedding be held there. The church was a good choice, it not only was a beautiful setting for their wedding but also, it lent an emotional tie to the couple. You could see the connection the two had to the church, its members and guests. Even her maid of honor and also her best friend work at the church with her. Hence we could tell that this particular wedding nailed it in terms of location, emotional connection with everyone beaming at the sight of one of their own getting married to a worthy and great man.
Kaitlyin’s youngest sister was the flower girl during the ceremony. The groom was not to be left behind; with his two brothers acting as his best men, and the lovely couple using a box to store their vows that they aptly named the vows vault and planned to open it every anniversary to read them to each other, you could see that he too was basking in the glow of their love. The reception was a gorgeous affair indeed. Colors of Navy and gray adorned Tre-Bella in Mesa, AZ, their wedding reception venue that is both urbane and chic. And while Kaitlin’s sister who was also her Jr. maid of honor, sang for the father/daughter dance, we realized that this emotion filled wedding was special and we like to think that we captured Kaitlyn and Brendon special moments of their wedding and these images will last forever.
