Erin and Colby first met while both working at Dicks Sporting Goods. Erin had heard everyone getting excited because “Colby was coming back”, so naturally, she had to meet him. She remembers introducing herself to Colby, even though he has no memory of this happening, and she knew he was someone special. Erin mentioned that she was going to a concert by herself and Colby offered to go with her (Erin was so happy) and so their first date was set. They enjoyed a night of Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line which was followed by many weekends of sand volleyball after work and late night Sonic runs after. Finally, Colby asked Erin to be his girlfriend on August 24,2013 and here they are almost five years later…

The proposal happened on March 31, 2018. Colby told Erin that they would be going up North for the day to celebrate her birthday. He told Erin that she had to pick where they were going between Prescott, Bearizona, and the Grand Canyon. Erin chose Bearizona, but after driving all the way up to Williams, they decided to stop at the Grand Canyon since they were going to be so close, and good thing they did! They got to the canyon and Colby was determined to get Erin’s picture on the same ledge they did a year before. Little did Erin know, their friends, had driven up earlier to take pictures of the big moment. They followed closely behind them. Erin and Colby found the perfect spot and walked down to the overlook and Colby insisted on taking her picture. When Erin turned around, he was on one knee with a beautiful wooden box that held the most perfect ring.

Their wedding took place at Tercero by Aldea Weddings. The boho feel of this venue with the white walls and Cacti walls was the perfect location for them to exchange their vows. Erin and Colby are pretty close to their siblings, so it was a no brainer to have them be part of their Bridal party. The unique thing about this is that Erin has two brothers, so for her part of the bridal party she had two “Brides Men” and Colby has a brother and a sister who insisted on being his Best Men aka “Best Woman”.

Everything was simple but yet elegant. Starting with Erin’s Hair and Makeup done by Ideal Bridal . Her look was natural and timeless and her dress fit her to perfection. The flowers had a subtle hint of blue, which tied perfectly to the whole theme of the day. The cake and dessert table was extra special since it was made by a good friend of Erin’s family.

Erin and Colby danced the night away. They enjoyed every minute of their big day and it was so great to witness the love between them.
